BBC NEWS | Health | Discovery of 'irony' brain areas: "By comparing healthy people and those with damage to different parts of the brain, they found the front of the brain was a key to understanding irony."

True, though he believed animal spirits flowed from it through the tubule-nerves to move the limbs by pneumatic power. I'm not sure if irony was controlled by the animal spirits.
